BRANDT Smart K B is a high efficiency foliar potassium formulation. It is a 2-0-16 formulation with a spike of boron which is ideal during critical growth stages. BRANDT Smart K B contains a proprietary boron molecule that keeps it stable across a broad pH range. This product is designed for superior tank mix compatibility with fungicides, insecticides, glyphosate and select dicamba herbicides.

How it works
The nutrient combination in BRANDT Smart K B was carefully selected and developed for row and specialty crops. The agronomic benefits of these nutrients include:
Boron: essential to new growth, pollination, and reproduction. Stabilizes the cell walls, which provides plant structure and integrity. Also, boron aids in nitrogen assimilation and root nodulation formation, which enhances nitrogen uptake and utilization.
Potassium: assists with drought tolerance, nodulation, lodging resistance and defense against insects and diseases. Also, potassium has a key role in fiber quality and strength.
BRANDT Smart K B provides high quality, readily available nutrients to the plant in an efficient and mobile form. With traditional boron fertilizers, the boron molecule binds to other elements inside the plant, resulting in its immobility.
To solve this boron mobility issue, BRANDT developed a proprietary technology to prevent boron from binding with pectin's, ensuring that the boron remains free and mobile for effective travel to plant growth tissues.
The BRANDT Smart boron molecule is cross-linked, which provides a protective shield for the boron that significantly increases the mobility when applied through foliar. In contrast, conventional boron fertilizers are not cross-linked with oxygen, which results in less boron availability and less boron at plant growing points.
Trial Summaries
Shown below is a trial summary we took from our 2019 research. The objective of this trial was to evaluate the effects of BRANDT Smart K B foliar nutrition on cotton yield and lint quality. We saw that BRANDT Smart K B increased boll set during bloom, resulting in an increase of yield.
